We’ve got exciting news to share! Georgia’s WIN List is pleased to announce that after conducting a nationwide search we have selected a new Executive Director – Melinda Ennis.

Melinda comes to us with an extensive background in the areas of strategic development, political policy, marketing and fundraising in both the private and non-profit arenas.

Most recently, Melinda was the Owner/Principal of MELWORKS, Inc. a marketing and fundraising consulting firm whose clients included Girls Scouts of Greater Atlanta and the Atlanta High Museum of Art. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of Brand Atlanta, Inc. where she worked with a wide spectrum of civic and corporate stakeholders, and raised almost 1.5 million in support of a regional marketing campaign.

Melinda’s leadership skills were honed as career as a chief marketing officer and senior vice president of marketing for Atlanta-based corporations and ad agencies.

She has also been involved in significant political policy work as Co-Director of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, Atlanta Chapter, which helped block HB 101 in the Georgia Senate. Since the session, the organization has continued to lobby on national and state gun legislation. Melinda is also a founder and steering committee leader for the Georgia Gun Sense Coalition.

In addition to her work for common sense gun legislation, Melinda provides pro bono marketing services for Georgia Women for a Change and the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival, as marketing co-chair.
