Amy Morton, Outgoing Chair
We thank our outgoing officers – Amy Morton, Chair, Allie Kelly, Vice Chair, Kathy Floyd, Secretary, and Jenna Moore Colvin, Treasurer -who have provided countless hours of hard work for WIN List. We want to especially recognize Amy who has been instrumental in leading WIN List to our successes of 2010.
Under Amy’s direction as Chair of the organization, WIN List has:
- Elected 26 of 28 endorsed women and took back a Republican-held seat in the Georgia legislature.
- Hired its first full time staff member, Executive Director, Anna Beck.
- Launched WIN Corp, a program to train young women and then place them as regional field directors to provide campaign support for our endorsed women.
- Taken a “hands on approach” in the races of some of endorsed women to make sure that they could WIN on election day.
- Developed a women voter turnout model through Georgia Women Vote.
Although Amy and Kathy are rotating off the Executive Committee, the good news for WIN List is that both will continue on the Board to provide additional support as we move forward in helping women WIN in 2012!
