Rep. Nikki Randall was born and raised in Macon, Georgia, and attended Bibb County Public Schools.  She is a 1995 graduate of Tennessee State University in Nashville, Tennessee where she received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, concentrating in marketing.

Ms. Randall made history in 1999 by being the first African American female to be elected to the Georgia General Assembly from Middle Georgia in a special election to fill an unexpired term vacated by her father after 25 years of service. Rep. Randall serves on the House Special Judiciary, Health and Ecology, and the powerful Rules Committee and most recently was appointed Chair of the House Interstate Cooperation Committee.  She is also a member of the Legislative Women’s Caucus, Georgia Legislative Black Caucus, Georgia’s Win List and is currenty the Vice Chair of the House Democratic Caucus. She was named 2001 Legislator of the Year.

Rep. Randall has served in many professional capacities, some of which include Marketing and Public Relations Director, Associated Enterprises; Assistant Human Resources Director, Georgia Music Hall of Fame; Employment Services Case Manager, Bibb County DFACS; Lobbyist, Georgia Nursing Home Association; Regional Field Coordinator, Barnes for Governor Campaign; and Regional Director, Democratic Party of Georgia.

Randall is an active member of the Community Church of God; Mamie B. Reese Federated Women’s Club; The Junior League of Macon; Secretary of the Friends of the Douglass Theater Board; Macon Tri-City Lions Club; Bibb County Democratic Women, Women’s Political Organization; Advisor, Nubian Princess Girls Mentor Program; and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Epsilon Omega Chapter. She is also a 1998 graduate of Leadership Macon, and a 2004 participant in Leadership Georgia.

The District: District 138 includes Macon, the northwest part of Bibb County, and parts of Lizella.
