Important Update from House District 49:
Teresa Lin has made the difficult decision to step back from the race to focus on her health, and she is passing her campaign into strong hands. Georgia WIN List is proud to endorse Sara Fuchs to carry HD 49 forward and FLIP this seat in November.

Sara Fuchs has spent six years inside the State House as Chief of Staff to Rep. Betsy Holland, running two winning re-election campaigns and learning exactly how to get things done under the Gold Dome. As an academic librarian at Georgia State, Georgia Tech, and Emory, she built a career out of helping people find what they need and preserving the knowledge our communities rely on. As PTA president and fundraising chair at her children’s Title I schools, she made sure the school community met the needs of children.

For 23 years this seat has stayed in the hands of a Republican incumbent while our rights eroded, our schools went underfunded, and voting grew harder. HD 49 is one of the most winnable flips in Georgia, and with fewer than 80 days left, Sara is ready to run all the way through the finish line.
