Rep. Pam Dickerson

State Representative Pam Dickerson serves the citizens of House District 113, which includes portions of Newton and Rockdale counties. Pam has resided in Conyers for more than 15 years. Previously, she lived in DeKalb County for 16 years. From the early ages of her life, she, along with the kids in her native New Orleans neighborhood, were recruited into the political arena, often canvassing the neighborhoods during the political seasons. She has said, “Politics has been in my blood for a long time.”

Pam is a product of the school systems of New Orleans, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern University in New Orleans, where she was president of the Foreign Language Honor Society (Alpha Mu Gamma). 

For more than 40 years, Rep. Dickerson has been employed by Delta Airlines. She also owned a small business, which was certified by the SBA.

Rep. Pam Dickerson has passed many successful bills, including HB 901 that enhances and improves a district city charter, HB 187 setting Drug Free Commercial Zones in the city of Porterdale in Newton County, and HB 131 and HB 101, to address bullying.
