Kim Floria

Kim Floria

HD 30

Georgia WIN List is proud to endorse Kim Floria for House District 30.

Kim is a mom, a sign language interpreter and disability advocate, a small business owner with her husband and a doting grandmother. In fact, after meeting and falling in love with her “little human,” Kim, along with her husband and son, packed up their house, left careers, friends, and family and moved across the country to be close to her. They started calling Georgia their new home in 2018.

This community welcomed the Floria’s with open arms, and Kim knows it is now her turn to give back. If elected, Kim will use her tireless energy to help the community be an even better place for all our children and grandchildren to grow up. Kim is running to represent House District 30 because she believes this community deserves someone who strongly believes in:

  • Helping Others Succeed: Kim is a firm believer in the principle that if one of us succeeds, all of us succeed. Her mother, a social worker, and her grandmother, a Catholic school teacher, taught Kim to meet each person where they are and, to not only value them for who they are, but to help them reach their full potential. As your Representative, Kim will work hard to ensure that you and your family can reach your best potential.
  • The Importance of Community: One of the things Kim loves most about living in HD 30 is the strong sense of community. As a child, Kim watched her two great uncles, who were Catholic priests, ministering to disadvantaged parishes. Kim learned the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need. Our community is better when we all work together to strengthen each other.
  • Justice and Equality: Kim learned the value of justice and equality from her father who practiced law and often provided pro-bono services to clients who didn’t have the means to pay. In our democratic quest to become “a more perfect union,” we must treat each other with respect and dignity. We should celebrate our differences while acknowledging what we have in common.
