After two decades as a social worker, educator and community leader helping others navigate systems not built with them in mind, Leisa Stafford is a candidate for House District 90 and with pleasure, Georgia WIN List endorses her campaign.
A “Grady Baby,” she grew up in the South DeKalb area she now hopes to represent in a District which includes Bouldercrest, Candler Park, Cedar Grove, Conley, Druid Hills East Atlanta, Edgewood, Ellenwood, Gresham Park, Henrico, Lake Claire, Meadowview, Morningside, Panthersville, Piney Grove, Terry Mill, and Virginia Highlands. She currently serves as President of the Gresham Park Neighborhood Association.
The district is currently represented by Saira Draper, a WIN List endorsed candidate for Senate District 44 after Senator Elena Parent decided not to seek re-election. Leisa is ready to bring her experience, integrity, and deep love for the community to the Capitol and make sure District 90 continues to have a representative who shows up, listens, and gets things done.
“I am running because our community deserves strong, collaborative leadership that listens and delivers consistently. This is a people powered campaign and your support will truly make a difference, regardless if you are in District 90.” she said.
