Rebecca is a public school teacher with more than 20 years in the classroom, and a wife, mother, stepmom, and grandmother of a blended family. For several years she also taught in a women’s prison. The experience deepened a simple conviction: everyone deserves to be seen, and no one should be written off.
District 32 has been held by the same representative since 2019, and Rebecca believes it is time for a new perspective and time for a woman to serve.
The district covers Banks, Habersham, Jackson, and Stephens counties in rural Northeast Georgia, and her priorities come straight from more than two decades of listening to her students and neighbors:
- Investing in students, teachers, and public schools
- Expanding access to affordable healthcare in our rural communities
- Standing up for women and protecting reproductive freedom
- Supporting working families with fair wages and lower everyday costs
n her own words, “It’s time we invest in our students, in individuals, in communities because no one is disposable.”
