Georgia WIN List is delighted to endorse WINning woman Representative Ruwa Romman as she campaigns for election to an open Senate district in Gwinnett County which includes several neighborhoods she has already served with distinction for two terms.
Senate District Seven includes portions of Berkley Lake, Duluth, Lawrenceville, Norcross, Peachtree Corners, and Suwanee. The district was previously represented by Nabilah Islam Parkes. Raised in Georgia, Ruwa is the granddaughter of Palestinian Refugees. She co-founded the Georgia Volunteer Hub, which mobilized thousands of volunteers during the 2021 Senate runoff. In the State House, she authored legislation to rein in corporate landlords driving up rents and to designate EMS an essential service.
“Georgia WIN list has been there for me every election cycle.” she said. “Their support helped us make history, and I know with their support we can make history again!”

Twenty-six years ago, WIN List founding mothers gathered with a clear mission: dismantle the “Good Old Boy” power structure by electing more women. When Republicans seized the Governor’s Mansion, Senate, and eventually the House between 2002 and 2004, our purpose sharpened. Smart, highly qualified WIN endorsed women have become Georgia’s strongest line of defense against a far-right legislative agenda.
The results speak for themselves. WIN List endorsed women have flipped seat after seat from red to blue, and Republican dominance in Georgia is now at its narrowest margin in twenty years. In 2026, electing WINning women like Ruwa Romman is our primary strategic focus. Record-breaking wins demand record-breaking resources. Please make a generous gift today.
