After serving since 2002, Congressman David Scott died on April 21 following years of health challenges. Former Gwinnett County School Board Chair Everton Blair won the special election runoff to fill the remainder of the current term. During May’s primary, Rep. Dr. Jasmine Clark received 51.5 percent of the votes in a competitive race with five other candidates. Dr. Clark was first elected to the Georgia House in 2018 as a WIN List endorsed candidate who FLIPed a seat from red to blue. She has served with distinction, bringing the expertise of her PhD in microbiology and her experience as a nursing professor to debates and public hearings about healthcare in particular.

Congressman Carter chose to run for the United States Senate this term and was resoundingly defeated in the May Primary. The son of former Congressman Jack Kingston is the well-funded Republican nominee for this seat. Following a robust May Democratic primary, Amanda Hollowell prevailed in the June runoff with a margin of 53 to 47 percent of the 29,822 votes cast. Amanda Hollowell is a communications and political strategist who most recently served as Chief of Campaigns for Color of Change, an online racial justice organization. Amanda is an early WLA graduate and served as WIN List Communications Director for a year a decade ago.

District Demographics: 63.2% white, 23.3% Black, 6.83% Hispanic, 2% AAPI, & 4.7% other.
Congressman Brian Jack is a native of Peachtree City and is serving his first term following prior experience as an aide to President Donald Trump. He was unopposed in May and received 87,616 votes. A total of 55,806 Democratic ballots were cast in May, with Maura Keller receiving 61% of the votes and George Melville Johnson receiving 39%. Maura Keller is a Retired Army Lt. Colonel with 26 years of service who has worked as a Nuclear Medical Technologist with Atlanta’s VA hospital since retirement. She sought the seat in 2024 and received 33.7% or 138,749 of the 441,785 votes cast during the General Election.

District Demographics: 59.7% white, 12.1% Black, 17.4% Hispanic, 6.8% AAPI, & 4% other.
Congressman Andrew S. Clyde, who was first elected in 2020, easily defeated two Republican primary challengers with 75.9 percent of the 69,985 votes cast in the May Primary. The Democratic Primary featured a generational contest where the younger generation, represented by Caitlyn Gegen, prevailed with 60% in a contest with retired banker Nick Alex, who received 40% of the 42,601 votes cast. She is a UGA graduate who more recently received her master’s degree from the London School of Economics. A member of the 2026 WIN Leadership Academy cohort, she brings fresh energy and enthusiasm to the campaign trail. At 27, she would become the youngest member of Georgia’s Congressional delegation if she manages an unexpected WIN! The camera loves her fresh face, red hair and expressive statements in memorable, widely-watched videos posted to social media platforms.

Geography: From South Carolina border thru a portion of Athens and down to Jackson in Butts County.
District Demographics: 59.4% white, 25% Black, 8.4% Hispanic, 2.5% AAPI, & 4.7% other.
With two term Congressman Mike Collins running for the United States Senate, the Republican Primary was a three-person contest won by well-funded 31-year-old Athens Rep. Houston Gaines, who received an overwhelming 67 percent of the 75,557 votes cast. In a Democratic Primary three-person contest, Pamela DeLancy received 54%. November 3 features sharp contrasts between Gaines, the “Golden Boy of the Georgia GOP” who has coasted on the coattails of older Republican men who have served as mentors, and Pam DeLancy, who retired with the rank of Colonel after 39 years of service in the Army Nurse Corps where she held numerous leadership positions. At first, DeLancy was not entirely comfortable on the campaign trail, but she is responding well to training and suggestions. She carries herself with great authority and speaks about issues with confidence. Gaines has a huge fundraising advantage but also comes across as overly confident and even arrogant on the campaign trail.

Geography: Eastern Georgia over to Augusta and South Carolina line.
District Demographics: 51.3% white, 36.3% Black, 6% Hispanic, 2% AAPI, & 4.4% other.
Congressman Rick Allen was first elected in 2014 and faces Democratic June Primary runoff winner Ceretta Smith in November. Ceretta won the runoff with a 55.8 to 44.2% margin following a highly competitive five-person May contest. She is a WIN Leadership Academy alumna and was previously WIN List endorsed for a legislative campaign. While she lost her first campaign, she later ran for and was elected to serve on the Grovetown City Council. Ceretta earlier served eight years in the Army.
