Runoff Races to Watch: July 22, 2020

This webinar discusses the upcoming August 11th primary as early voting has begun and many voters have received absentee ballots. Specifically, we discuss the campaigns of three WIN List endorsed women in runoff races and what to do if you have not received your requested absentee ballot. It is also discussed how boards of voter registration are preparing for record setting voter participation in November.

The Return of Session: July 8, 2020
This webinar discusses the budget, Hate Crimes Bill, and other events in the last two weeks of June as legislators re-convened to complete the 2020 session. A budget which greatly reduced education and public health spending passed without considering other ways to increase revenues. The Hate crimes bill passed, but other legislative measures were left on the table and some measures passed with serious legal flaws.
